Academic Therapy
Reading & Spelling
Auditory conceptualization is the primary sensory-cognitive function
that is basic to reading and spelling. With this skill, individuals are able to make
precise judgments as to how syllables and words match or differ. When this skill does not
develop spontaneously, the individual cannot perceive the nature of his/her error and
cannot self-correct. This is called Auditory Conceptual Dysfunction.
An Academic Therapy program designed to help with this type
of weakness is Phonological Analysis with Synthetic Phonics PASP Program.

program view this PDF document.
